NZ told me about HIIT more than two years ago. Still adamant on Cali Fit, I stuck to my guns. While there has been *some* weight loss, it has not been significant for me to go “woop dee doo”
Two years later, I went for my first HIIT sesh. Typically, I hurt the most 48hrs after the fact. 24hrs ago, I realise that I cannot bend my arms without pain. Ouchie.
Warm Up:
40 secs of jumping jacks x1
40 secs of Side Plank (Right + Left + Centre) x 1
Work Out 1:
4Osecs of Kettlebell deadlifts / 20 secs of rest x 4
40 secs of push ups / 20 secs of rest x 4
Work Out 2:
40 secs of burpees /20 secs of rest x 4
40 secs of dead row / 20 secs of rest x 4
Completed 2/5 of work out 1, and 1/5 of work out 2. I wish I had pushed myself more but the reality is, I felt faint and had I continued, I would have most likely fainted. I definitely had that *puke* feeling that all HIIT aficionados talk about.
Pain Level: 7/10
