How about some pep talk? It takes 1 try to make an attempt a success and it makes all the failures in the world worthwhile. No excuses and no looking back.
Actually, the title is deceiving. I have been back at the gym for the last three weeks. The last two weeks have been intensive – alternate cardio with body pump days. For the first time, two body pump sessions a week.
And there has been results. Within the last 10 days, I have dropped 4.5lbs. Great first step to this journey. What’s different this time around? Firstly, my cardio is different. I’ve added HIIT to my usual steady cardio routine. Most of all, it is my attitude. While I am not a big eater to begin with, I am not always careful with that goes in. So, this time..there’s a much more elaborate thought process. The extra effort that goes into ensuring that my bags are packed, my breakfast is made, my lunch is cooked from stratch makes this time different.
